Property was central, within easy reach of town. Lovely walk around area especially the river. Had issues with key card which staff did help with but gave impression they were unhappy with us. Insinuating we had it next to phone etc.

This was our 3rd short break at the Parador this winter, a 10 minute car ride up to the Baqueira ski station. It is essential to have a car if you want to ski as the public transport up to the ski station isn't frequent. Also, if you are there at peak weekends/school holidays, take an early breakfast to avoid traffic jams up to Baqueira.

This is a place where you want to be when driving from Lleida takes five hours due to fresh snow and blocked roads, and you are sick and tired. The lady in the front desk did not speak English, but organised my night flawlessly, including getting me a warm garage. There was a good, locally focussed three course dinner. The room was probably quiter than otherwise because of the lack of traffic, but it was clean, well equipped (power outlets next to each bedside, extra plus) and comfortable. Next...

I originally planned a single night's stay but was taken ill just as I was about to leave. The hotel were so helpful as they called an ambulance and looked after my belongings whilst I was in hospital.
They also arranged for a room to be available for a couple of days when I was discharged from hospital.
Very helpful and nice big apartment rooms, with the river running by right out front.

The location is good, with a direct 15min walk to centre of town. The staff are excellent. The breakfast is excellent with an excellent choice of cooked and fresh cold options. Evening buffet option has a large variety of choices cooked, salad, fruit and sweet dishes. I had a room on the 1st floor near lifts/stairs...a little noisy between 07:30/08:30 - other guest and cleaning trolly with a noisy loose wheel.
The pool and rear garden is a great location to relax in the sun or covered seated...

Very good team conscientious about Covid cleaning. Only real issue was the hotel shepherd's dog who barked last at 22h50 and started again at 05h50 ... Management should take care of this issue.

A lovely hotel for a ski-ing couple. We stayed 3 nights and loved it - friendly staff - great place, easy to find.
Decor was nice and stylish, room was warm and spacious, food was ok, car parking was easy. I would happily go back there again. Apart from going ski-ing, we didn't leave the hotel, so I can't vouch for the immediate neighbourhood, but it looked great if you like it quiet.

Had to change plans at the last minute due to a traffic diversion and booked this late after and arrived at the premises in the dark. Staff were accommodating and couldn’t have been more helpful. Good food and a great location. Would love to come back and explore the area some more. A nice remote and quiet location in a lovely village up a dead end valley.

A real gem of a find. Very comfortable Chateau, great food and company. Excellent host made checkin easy and flexible which was great when travelling via bike and being exact with timings can be tricky. Wish I could have stayed longer!
