"This is the third time we've been to this hotel. We go here for the Braderie weekend in Lille. We choose it because it's one of the best value for money hotels over the Braderie weekend. I wouldn't necessarily choose it at any other time. But you get what you pay for, and this is a one star hotel! It's close to a metro station which is 3 stops to the main train station (useful for the Eurostar and getting into town easily - buy the metro daily ticket). Hotel is very basic, but for two nights we can just about make do. Room is clean, bed is fine, sheets fresh and nicely made. For the second time we had the 'communal' bathrooms, which, as someone who's never shared a bathroom ever, are 'interesting', but again, fine for a couple of days (bring your own towel). One of the receptionists is very nice and speaks a little English. There is a spacious car park. We work on the theory that as long as you don't have high expectations, the hotel is absolutely fine for the Braderie. We will most likely book for the 2027 again."

"This hotel is well located. It is clean and has a belle époque feel to it. Breakfast was fresh and varied overlooking the main square . Would always stay here again . If you need parking opéra car park is 4 mins walk"

"Rooms are bit dated would do with some refreshing but Ok for the price paid. Staff very helpful! Breakfast really poor choice, some items were not available for others we had to wait as they’ve run out. Really odd as the breakfast room wasn’t even half full, around 12 people including us. Secure parking and city centre within walking distance a big +."
