First room was full of big ants in the window, curtain and frame on 2nd floor. The front desk person didn’t appear to care or know what to do. I requested another room just to be told no more double beds.Second room was on first floor with no ants. Luckily I had family to help with kids due to having to change bed type due to ants. It was always a stressful due to funeral as reason for stay. Then having room issues and one less bed does not help.

It IS Louisiana so my expectations were not high. There was a roach in the midnight hour so we took our bags between days. Kinda trappish out there but it was a cool room for an emergency trip and better than nothing in a pinch. As a traveler though, you want to avoid insects but those corners were not clean. They denied me early entry saying they were cleaning the rooms so my thought was it would be clean. There was still evidence of dopefiend partying in there, boa feathers and hair behind the toilet, and a burn hole in the blanket. But it IS Louisiana. I would DARE touch that continental breakfast. Cereal and one kind of juice, maybe an apple or banana but I didn’t linger…at all.

when I first arrived i was greeted and he was very nice gave me my key to my room, my family and I went into the room and it smelled just like a "skunk" well say..... i asked the front desk person to come smell just to show him that there is a smell and i am not trying to be that person he said he doesn't smell anything well i still asked for another room and he gave us one no problem easy fix. however the beds are nothing but springs, the bathtub is very "used" black rings and just not at all relaxing to shower in. later i found the "skunk" problem people were smoking outside the door that was next to the first room and my son and i had to walk by them every time to get to our car, IDK if the pool was open or not but it was TINY and full of green water. honesty not worth the price.

The room was not the cleanest. I purchased cleaning supplies for the bathroom & room. There was bugs, but I was told no bedbugs. The carpet was stained, the shower curtain was moldy, (which I asked to he replaced). I wouldn’t want to stay there again. So not worth the money, very disappointed.
