The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Very polite staff. Super cool spa with saunas and pool. Breakfast was extremely delicious. The yard was very nicely decorated. Hotel for all generations.

Very comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast. We swam in the lake on both days and walked round the lake which was very beautiful.

Gorgeous setting with fabulous view. Staff welcoming yet unobtrusive. Lovely breakfast of different breads fresh fruit hams and cheeses yoghurts and hot eggs and bacon. Dinner stunning -regional dishes cooked to a fine dining style with locally sourced produce.

Super welcome, fantastic 'Tower Room'. There is only one such room and it has panoramic views of Salzburg and environs. Breakfast, service, friendliness all first rate. A small hike out of town, but well worth it!

I stayed at the Hyperion during a last minute trip to Salzburg. The hotel is beautiful and the staff amazingly attentive. It is in a brilliant location- across the road from Mirabell palace and gardens and approximately a 10 minute stroll through the gardens and over the footbridge to reach the old town. Excellent hotel with a warm atmosphere. You can really feel that this is a hotel run by a family who are passionate in what they do. The room was very clean, it’s in a great location and the staff went above and beyond to help us. In fact, we have found all Austrians to be incredibly hospitable. I would highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful stay in beautiful Salzburg.

Red roses,champagne,duvet folded in shape of heart with rose petals arranged around it...unexpected for our wedding anniversary. View from our window was of river, castle, and old town. Perfect room in everyway. All the staff were friendly and helpful in everyway. Could not fault hotel in anyway. Best hotel we have ever stayed in on our travels over the years

A lovely old building (1429!) stacked with history. Great location and the staff were all really friendly and happy to share their knowledge about the town. Would highly recommend.

Ulrike, who manages Front of House, was absolutely superb. She provided one of the best welcomes I have enjoyed in a hotel for a long time.

We love this hotel for many reasons: location is perfect, the warmth and kindness and helpfulness of the staff, the size of the rooms and bathroom, wonderful extra touches, fantastic restaurant. It is the embodiment of old world, elegant charm.

Lovely view from the room. However would recommend the hotel to provide European plug for charging.
