"The hotel is on a square in a lovely part of town, with free parking available on the square and a street back too. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a small pool and space to lounge in the sun. The rooms were very clean and the electric blinds kept out the sun brilliantly. "This is an old house, with some interesting history & furnishings. It is not a hotel, it’s a B&B, with 3-4 bedrooms and the owners live upstairs. The ( ensuite) bathrooms are very dated. "We just came from a wonderfull stay at this paradise. The service was at it finest, and the location to. We were so lucky, that the staff (Susanna) upgraded our room to a supirior, because there were one free. The room was so beautifull - the combination of wood, stone and “farm” style has sat an impression of us. You really need to experience this place. "Spectacular B&B! The suite apartment was stunning, large and comfortable. Sparkling clean and also so beautifully decorated! The balcony has a beautiful view. "This is the second time we stay at this beautiful place. Great location, comfortable rooms, good food, and most importantly amazing staff that always go the extra mile to make your stay a special one. A lovely experience in the Douro Valley
"We had an amazing two-night stay. Maria and the staff go above and beyond to share restaurant recommendations and insights on the region. The room was comfortable and the pool a nice treat. There are wineries within walking distance and Pinhao is a short drive away. We highly recommend staying at Casa do Santo because it provides an authentic Douro experience that can't be matched."
