"Everything was excellent apart from the check in at the hotel we waited half an hour to check in. They need more reception desks and staff to help their visitors, reception area is not big enough for the size of the hotel. Breakfast was ample but got a bit boring after a few days, not much fresh fruit."

Belmar Spa & Beach Resort

"The Belmar was a lovely condo with beautiful views. We were 4 women on a girls trip and thought the location was good to walk to some restaurants and an easy uber ride into Lagos. We each received massages from the spa and all of us said they were excellent! The only downside would be that you have to go upstairs to get to the bedrooms, however that did not bother us. We highly recommend the Belmar."

"Nice hotel,clean and quiet. 20 mins walk to the old town.I requested a sea view but had a large empty piece of land an the view with the ocean in the distance as a tiny strip. Hotel could do with more seating around the pool and the 'spa' is an indoor swimming pool, steam and sauna room. Treatments have to be booked in advance so they can get the therapist in. Staff were friendly but as a new hotel, I think its still trying to find its feet."

"This was an amazing resort… Rooms were clean whelm maintained, as well as the rest of the property. Food options at the resort were not five star but very very good. Drinks were on the pricey side, however, you expect that while traveling abroad. Would have been nice to know there was construction going on that limited some of the access around the resort… But it did not affect our stay. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great vacation in Portugal"
