This is a nice hotel located near several corporate offices. They were not very busy over the weekend as they seem to accommodate the business traveler during the week. We didn't mind at all since the restaurant was not busy and we felt relaxed. The food was good at the restaurant and the staff was very accommodating. The parking is set up with an outside vendor and at $50 is a bit steep for a parking garage with online payment. The location was good and we felt very safe there.

My stay at the DoubleTree-Rosemead was pleasant and fair - it had everything a good hotel should. Room was clean, shower was spacious, there was 24/7 service in the lobby, and a pool/hot tub for guests. There are elevators on both ends of the hotel, which makes it easier for guests to enter and exit their rooms, and the halls are generally quiet, with no obnoxious residents or rowdy neighbors. All of this makes the DoubleTree Hotel a great place to stay, accompanied with the fun little town of Montebello, which has a great mall to visit right across the street from the hotel. In short, when looking for an affordable but reliable hotel in/around the LA area, consider the DoubleTree-Rosemead.
