Charged €60 for bed sheet.
First time writing a review about any hotel.Firstly, when I was checking in i gor asked if cleaning is needed, I said NO.When I was sleeping, cleaner literally came into my room without my permission and after she saw me she immediately left the room.You must have my approval to enter the room for privacy reasons, this is same for every otel.After I told this to reception they told me sorry and told me it would not happen again and to put “do not disturb”. When I was outside, they still got into my room for cleaning and because my bed sheet was “dirty” , they charged me €60. I only spilled a drink which would easily be vanished after 1-2 washes.The hotel tries to find ways to charge customers, like checking the room without my permission after 2 warnings during my stay, etc.Majority of French people are arrogant and some of them don’t like Turkish people.I did not well welcome,even though the staff were kind, but not genuine.Definitely not staying again.

Mediterranean escape
Great view of the Mediterranean & easy walk over to the old town. Continental breakfast spread was nice. Cheerful decor.

Relax and listen to the sea
Loved the location, lovely room excellent balcony with great view of the waterfront. Great access for the bus to take you into Monaco, stop right outside hotel. Great for walking along the see front and lots of restaurants available. Room has a small fridge.

Stayed here for one night in June 2023 and wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel is in a superb location looking over the Mediterranean sea. We booked a room with a sea balcony and were delighted with it. The room was very clean. The balcony is a good size and the views are stunning. The hotel has a spa on the roof with sunbeds and a large Jacuzzi. This is free to guests. Treatments are available at extra cost. The hotel has a decent sized dining room for breakfast/dinner. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be staying here again.

The lovliest place to stay
When we arrived we recieved a very friendly, warm welcome ! Especially from Claudia and all of the other good people at the Riva Hotel. The room was immaculately clean, modern and had everything we wanted, TV, Tea and coffee making facilities, great shower, comfortable bed and a peaceful room. Superb buffet breakfast to start the day. We loved the relaxing rooftop Jacuzzi and Spa ! The two of us had a really lovely stay at the hotel Riva and really looking forward to another visit as soon as we can Very,Highly recommended .

The staff is very pleasant and accommadating. The room was spacious, beautiful and spa-like. The rooftop solarium offers gorgeous views of the endless ocean. A great hotel in every way!

Great hotel, fantastic location, overall very good value for money. There is just one caveat for those working and dependent on decent internet. The internet signal in my case was weak and intermittent which was an issue as I had work assignments to complete. I tried different locations, including next to the router near the lobby... Shame really, because otherwise, I liked the place a lot.

On the beach ! 4 th floor facing was amazing view both directions. Some mosquitoes at night so patio screen door would have been good No kettle but free hot water teapot cup from bar. Great staff.

Lovely hotel in great location
We stayed for 6 nights in a sea view room. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and the bed was really large and comfortable. Although there was obvious noise from the road on the balcony, once the doors were closed it was really quiet and the air conditioning meant we slept far too well! The spa on the roof was a great bonus and we went up to relax there every evening. We loved the location of the hotel. Right on the beach and a short walk into town. We will definitely be going back.

The property is nice, it sits right behind the ocean. You can have your breakfast outside and it’s absolutely gorgeous.

Good stay
1) The location is very good, so close to the beach and tourism attractions but quiet 2) the room are a little bit old but well maintained 3) the staff are okay, average. 4) breakfast normally not included, and the quality price is not good. If you have time, go around the street you can find better things

A lovely stay in Menton in a nice hotel. About 15-20 minute walk in Menton old town. Hotel is situated right on the front beach so if you're lucky you'll get a great unobstructed sea view. Hotel rooms are not modern but are clean. My one minor complaint about the room would be the strange shower. I don't know if it's the same for every room but the shower was set to waist height with no option to put it higher. We were able to work it around but someone not as able bodied may struggle. Other wise it was a great stay. Would potentially stay here away.

Nice hotel, bad place to visit, drive and park car
It was a nice comfortable hotel. It was on the beach, but it was rocky. Getting to the hotel by car was difficult. The staff sent us to eat dinner at an overpriced restaurant with bad Italian food. The waitress in the breakfast room was very kind. The front desk was helpful getting a cab.

I had a good stay at this hotel, the room and bathroom were very clean , bed was comfortable and I slept well most nights. The balcony light could not be turned off by the room and seemed to be on an automatic setting controlled elsewhere which was an issue as it kept me up one night and my friend another. There should be thicker curtains to keep light out. The bathroom shower was not on a hook meaning you have to hold the head the entire time, I’ve never experienced this and it seems strange to me to not be able to just stand under a shower. We didn’t have breakfast here but it was a shame that there is no dinner options or room service aside from breakfast. The roof area was nice however the jacuzzi was freezing cold when we went in on our first night there. The WIFI did not work well, I am not particularly bothered as I’m on holiday and not on my phone a lot however if you are paying for it as part of the stay, you should be able to use it when you want, I also heard two separate people complain about this to reception who didn’t offer any explanation other than that it works for other people. I didn’t have an exactly bad experience but I wouldn’t stay here again. I feel it was a bit of a mismatched hotel being 3star but not having a basic shower or room service but then having spa facilities.
