The hotel is nice and has great amenities but the front desk staff can be a little rude. They charged our credit card 166 with no notification and did not show on our room account. When we went to the front desk they said it was a smoking fee. We don’t smoke, vape, light candles etc. the gave us the report that showed the time of the incident at time we were not even in our room. They removed the charge but if we didn’t get alerts from our credit card company we would not have know about this charge.

This is a lovely property right on the water with wonderful views. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with some thoughtful little gifts left for the guests. Staff are super helpful and the location is close to everything in Onomichi station and great value for money. We would not hesitate ...
