Although there is a school next door we were not disturbed by noise at all. It’s about a 20 minute walk to down town which is challenging on the way back as it is up hill. We loved it .."

"A very nice hotel made even better by the staff. The team made excellent suggestions for dinner, including at the hotel itself, beaches and things to do. When their expertise came into its own was when the weather deteriorated and made reservations to enjoy lunch and wine tasting at a vineyard, then at an olive oil factory. Both fab experiences. "

The included breakfast is expansive and fresh. The location of the hotel is right in the heart of Modica. Everything is is in easy walking distance. but still I had a very difficult time finding the hotel—Google Maps places this address not in Modica but down on the Mediterranean coast in the town of Pozzallo...

"Cute room, great comfy bed! AC worked great, as well as the shower. A big plus to have a fridhe in the room. I had some issues with the key but the host was always ready to help and quick to reply within a minute. The area is in the middle of beautiful Modica. I travelled alone (woman) but felt very safe in the area even late in the evening. Will stay here again!"
