"I was in Modena for 5 days on business and had a rental car so I could get back and forth to a work location. Hotel has been recently refurbished and looks brand new. Excellent restaurant. Other hotels are closer to tourist attractions but Modena is not that big. This hotel is superb and delivers great value for money."

"This place is so lovely. It's run by a family who live on the premises. While at the pool, I felt like I was there with my family. The recommendations for places to see were excellent. The room and breakfast were excellent. I will return just to feel at home again. "

"This is a relatively small and friendly hotel, close to the station and also the historic centre. The staff are helpful, and the room is clean. My only quibble is the size of the room - it’s very tight and the bed is close to the desk. The external shutters were nearly closed and I couldn’t open them, which makes the room dark. It has a lot of merits, and is a good base to see Modena"

"The hotel was a little tricky to find due to it being a little out of the way, but the satnav got us there in the end. Parking was easy and our welcome at the hotel everything that we would expect. The hotel is a former bordello and the decor reflects that. We stayed in a superior room and as such had a four poster bed. Inline with the hotel's former use there was a mirror on the ceiling and on the wall next to the bed. Not to everyone's taste but it added to the feel of the place. It was...
