"Nice remodel. Very friendly and helpful staff. If you are older, go first floor. No elevator. Takes you back in time. Very good experience. 27 nice rooms. Some rooms are small. Think I would go with a suite next time. Lots of fun things to do in the area. The town is short on amenities but Big Pine has good restaurants and is just a few minutes away."

"Stayed 2 nights for Mt. Whitney Summit (and stayed in the past as well when in area). Overall good place as a base camp for mountains in the area. Basic amenities, hot shower and receptionist was welcoming. AC ran well during 100+ degree weather for those 2 days. Would stay again!"
