This was a very nice place to stay in Miyanoura. The breakfast and dinner service was unexpected. Both were interesting and satisfying. The steam bath was excellent after a day of hiking. The staff here were very nice and helpful.

Minshuku Umikawa
It was a great stays in Yakushima with minshuku Umikawa. Very near to the pier , bus station and supermarket!

Yakusugi House
We highly recommend staying here as it was comfortable, quiet and great location. The host was very responsive to our needs. He also drove us about the island in his car.

We stayed in one of the bigger rooms with the outdoor bath. Only fits one at a time for adults but the deck and upper deck are beautiful.
