"Motel advertises "renovated rooms" but those renovations must have happened decades ago. My room had holes in the wallboard, torn-up flooring and beat up furniture. Cleanliness was not great; the mini-fridge was foul-smelling and filthy inside and out and there were big clusters of dust where I had to plug in lamps and such. In the bathroom, the shower didn't have a soap tray of any sort; had to rest the soap and shampoo bottles on the shower floor. There was no housekeeping service at all; staff never provided new towels over a three night stay. The owner and his family had their own "outdoor BBQ party" on the premises one night; so unprofessional, made me feel very awkward."

"Great location by the water and close to gas/food/highway. The room seemed clean but the fact that someone's stale pizza was sitting in the fridge was not encouraging. Poor lighting didn't help confidence either. Plus the bathroom fan clanked away something terrible."
