"This a unique property, very cosy and peaceful. It was exactly as advertised and very charming with a well presented modern attached bathroom. Karen was a really helpful host and the location for us was great especially as Karen gave us so much advice and assistance to plan our day in the Grampians. Sadly due to the cloud cover we did not get to see the night sky but on a clear night anyone keen on stargazing will have a great view. "Great location with wildlife right up close. Room was spacious but a bit old fashioned. Pool is tiny but was still pleasant and staff were helpful. Reasonably well equipped to make some snacks or breakfast but if you provide a coffee machine you should provide more than 2 pods."

"This property is surrounded on both sides by the Grampians, nestled near the town centre of Halls Gap. Plenty of wild animals to see, kangaroos, wallabies, deer and ducks are all plentiful. Your nearest neighbour is the sister house to this one (The one we stayed at was called bushland, but ironstone is also available.) Bushland is actually in a better spot as it is situated by itself, whereas ironstone is located close to another house (within 10m) so if you are after seclusion I would pick...
