Pros: staff is friendly and helpful, location is close to a mall, view is very nice, bed is comfy, breakfast was nice
Cons: services like pool and gym close at 6pm, some of the furniture in the room could be improved (sofa), plus not so eco-friendly. Bottles yet quality water, and many disposable toiletries.

Room is spacious and look like newly refurbish interior. However TV sound is out of order even turn to max no sound at all in room no 903. Bathroom ceiling with mole & dew. Air-con vent at centre of room with LED light no switch to turn-off. Hotel lobby connected to Parkson at Grd Floor easy access. Respond from housekeeping very slow takes more than 1 hour.
The lobby was alright. But when we were given our room number, we proceed to it and the level has a musty smell. The door couldn’t really full lock, it look as though

Good place to stay inside Bintang Megamall. Walk in to the mall. Grand Deluxe room is cleen, cozy, and a lot of space. The online portal reservation system needs to be upgraded as it is only linked to unionpay which does not accept non-malaysian credit cards. Free parking in mall parking which is a little bit tricky and very long queue during busy time. Premium parking is available but for very premium cost. The rooms hall is sometimes smelly and moldy. But the room is cleen and no odors.
I really enjoyed my stay. My family as well.
Airconditioner is warm, the club below is noisy, no hot shower, the floor slippery till my wife fell down near the elevator due to wet floor. Had a very unpleasant stay. Will never stay there again even it it is the only option left.
Adequate facilities provided but under under utilised due to time constraint. Mall entrance from hotel door is closed and inconvenient.

Poor room standards
The room looks a bit rundown and there was an unpleasant smell. The toilet wasnt that clean and had signs of mould and poor maintenance. The sink was also not draining properly.
Rooms booking were both king size beds, but were given only 1 king size bed and 1 double bed.
Foods for breakfast were always not refilled when empty. Some foods were not refilled throughout our course of breakfast (from we start breakfast until we finished breakfast)
We stayed at this hotel about ten years ago. There has not been any maintenance performed in the rooms. Cigarette burns were on the carpet and and tables and it was a non smoking room. There is an additional fee for extra towels and toiletries such as shampoo, bath soap and conditioner. You have to ask at the pool for pool towels. The RM25 for breakfast cost way too much so we did not purchase. The hotel is located in a shopping center so many foods were available but were more expensive than Kuching.

The location was great. Attached to one of the biggest mall in Miri town. Shopping and dinning is never a problem. From chain fast food restaurant (Mc Donalds, KFC) to Puzza Hut, Kenny Rogers and Sushi King. From UniQlo to H&M and Parkson Grand. Room was okay. The roon carpet has seen its better day and i think its about time the hotel need to renovate and upgrade. Didn't try the pool. Breakfast at the old grandlady @ 17th floor was ok. Srandard. I think they can upgrade the quality of the cooking and the food and drink a little bit more.
Hotels.com said I would get a King bed. When i got there I got a queen bed. I clarified w the staff and they said their big beds are only 1 sized - no diff between king beds and queen beds. So before you book, please note this!

Parking, terrible.
If not for hotel location, we would’ve stayed elsewhere!
