"The hotel is in a perfect location. The bus from the main Coimbra train station literally stops in front of the hotel. Everything is a short walk away. The staff were excellent and we loved the rooftop bar with a view of the town. Overall very positive experience. "

"The staff was exceptional and took time to listen to my needs. The room was loaded with amenities and perfectly designed for a boutique hotel! Location was perfect, stepping outside your door to pedestrian zone and shopping! Room was clean and prepared. "

"Perfect location for tourist activities. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and very helpful. We appreciated their English language skills because our Portuguese is very limited. The hotel is of another era and transported us back in time with its old world charm, although maybe a little faded from its heyday. The many historic photos of the hotel and others in the same hotel group were fun to look at. The breakfast was VERY good with a wide selection of hot and cold options. The room included an entrance area separating the bathroom and bedroom, and were well appointed. We felt pampered. We also had a nice view of the downtown area and beyond from our room. We would definitely stay again on a return trip to Coimbra!"
