We needed a place to stay to break up a long journey between Dallas and New Orleans. It was only a one night stay so I wasn’t overly concerned as to the quality of the accommodation. I have to say however that the hotel , room , staff and location were first class. Definitely recommend.

This Hotel is all that you would expect from Best Western - but in a small rural location close to 2 huge fishing lakes. The staff are very friendly and the facilities are great. It gives you a chance to eat out at authentic rural Texas restaurants nearby and experience the small town warmth and welcome in Rains County
