"I’m booking the staff were very helpful helped me with parking. I’m very pleasant. The only issue I have is that the Room did not have a fridge that would be nice to have to keep your drinks cold apart from that everything else was perfect."

"It's always difficult going into the unknown especially when considering all the potential ups or downsides. Always have a level of expectation that's keeps oneself honest. So honestly, we were just looking for a place to stay that was local for our requirements, where could eat or have a drink if we wanted an easy life. Happily upon arrival we were more than happy with the room, both location and size and layout were great for us. Maybe a slight bit of apprehension about being above the bar but that was our choice to stay and we knew that before hand. That said we had very little to be concerned of in actual fact. Noise levels were not intrusive, and to be honest we didn't ever hear anything. Super quiet and well insulated or just very quiet pub So defo not negatives there. There is a bit of noise from the road but that's to be expected and only really noticeable because of the super hot ambient temps over that current wknd so windows open for some breeze. Comfortable quiet clean room with a decent usable space and layout. Breakfast included and tailored to suit our needs with super reliable staff and quality food served quickly, efficienly and without a single issues whatsoever . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had zero stress at any part of the time there. Food and stay all better than expected. Would not hesitate to rebook Thanks for effort 👌"

"All the staff were really welcoming at The Royal Oak! Despite there being a large group there, they still made us feel valued. Room was lovely with a great shower, food was amazing and all in a beautiful setting. I slept particularly well so nothing to fault and would love to return! "
