Airport Hotels, Minden-Tahoe (MEV)

"To be fully transparent...we were understanding of the construction going on here, and were warned. However were given a room on the 5th floor (even after I requested on on a higher flooe and was denied) right under the construction for the convention center and were woken up at 6am sunday, monday and the worst was tuesday morning with slamming hammer noises right above us...the first morning I called three times with no answer, and the lines were long when I went to the front desk in person...when my call to the front desk was finally answered on Tuesday morning he offered to waive the resort fees... and told me we should have called earlier and they would have moved us to another room. So, WHY would they put us in that room to begin with knowing construction was right above us? No other compensation was offered, maybe a free night in the future, or a refund of one of the three nights we stayed would have been nice. Then to make it like it was my fault for not notifying them when I TRIED! Very disappointing. We go to Tahoe several times a year and will not be giving them our business ever again."

"I had a beautiful weekend staying at the hotel. I wish the bartender was a little faster and nicer, but i guess she was overwhelmed working alone. "

"TV remote was missing and I looked for it under and behind the drawer. I found empty soda bottles and food wrappers. No Tv remote was found. I asked for a replacement TV remote. Service was not answering the call immediately. My call was put on hold then disconnected. It took me several calls and a couple of hours to ask for the replacement. The house service brought a replacement while we were out for dinner which didn’t work with the TV in our room."

"I looked at many different places to stay and thought i was booking room with a view, turns out it was not by the lake. Nice enough room."

"Clean room , friendly staff... casino was not worth it too small and no ambiance..no amenities other than the gym...and there was construction i would stay again if there is a deal but would not pay full price"
