Great location, clean and tidy. No safe in the room! (Not sure how this would go down with travel insurance if you had items stolen. Unlikely in Japan, but not impossible) Shower over bathtub is not as good as many of the newer hotels walk in showers. It’s easy to get to on the tram from the train ...

KOKO HOTEL Premier Kumamoto
Spending more time traveling up and down escalators. Since there is no drop-off for the hotel itself we had to park our car for 1 hour just for dropping off the baggage. Room is smaller than expected and there is no room to open baggage.
