Rooms are tiny (as in most of Japanese hotels) and the aircon was loud. But overall helpful staff and decent accommodations- specially given the price. One complaint though - it’s got Marriott branding and even with my platinum status I got no perks, not even water or an offer for upgrade. Staff need better education."
"This hotel exceeded our expectations. The property was immaculately clean and housekeeping kept our room spotless. The concierge helped deliver bags, and also arrange airport transportation for us. There are shops in the bottom of the hotel that make great gifts and it is convenient to the subway. The breakfast was delicious. Next time we are in Osaka, we will stay again."
"KOKO Hotal Osaka Shinsaibashi is excellent. Rooms are big for Japanese city standards, the location is fantastic (very close to restaurants -- there is a Krispy Creme 2 minutes walking distance which is quite nice, a Wagyu cozy restaurant literally across the street, various convenience stores nearby, Shinsaibashi-Suji shopping street and subway station less than 10 minutes walking distance. Hotel restaurant is nice with a very affordable breakfast (it was 1,980 yen when I was there). Very nice...
"We had a great time at Osaka and compared with all the hotels we’ve stayed at in Japan during our holidays, this was the biggest room we’ve had so far, very well located, the free breakfast and snacks were very appreciated. It was also so easy to check in and out, plus the dinosaurs at the entrance make it very interesting. You have everything you need in the area, so I would totally recomend this hotel!"
