"The staff treated me so well. Working with me even with a language barrier. After a few weeks of the Tokyo and Osaka life, that place was a slice of heaven, my only regret was not staying longer. The location is excellent, right on the beach. The rooms are large and clean, very good condition and with a private bath. We also had a nice balcony to enjoy the wonderful sunset. The roof top baths are also very nice with a great view to the beach and surrounding area. We would have preferred the water temperature to be a bit hotter. The service is excellent and English was not a problem. The food was pretty good and overall a very relaxing stay and a very good value.

Stayed for one night while going to Toba aquarium. Room was amazing very large and with a beautiful view of the sea. Staff were great very helpful the entire time. Hot drinks were free from a relaxing bar on the 1st floor. Breakfast was a Japanese style. Various different. Vegetables, fish and some fruit with rice, udeon and miso soup. We were even provided a meal voucher for the night when we arrived. Can't speak for the baths as we didn't use them for the night but I'm sure they are lovely as...

Wonderful views from this hilltop hotel, but it's a long, steep walk back from the beaches! We took the hotel bus down to the beach and walked back after spending some time at the port. It's isolated, but there's a free bus from/to Toyohashi Station. The breakfast and dinner buffets are great, and much of the hotel has been recently renovated. Unfortunately they have changed the afternoon times for the onsen so that women have access to their part at 3pm but men from 5pm, which we found...

Although the staff were mostly able to speak English, many of the signs were only in Japanese. This included the instructions on the toilet and the kettle. Google came to the rescue and translated whatever we needed. The restaurant staff were very helpful and even gave us a tour of the extensive buffet the first evening.
