"I booked this room because it was close to where I needed to stay. Also, it had decent reviews about cleanliness, especially the bathroom. I did not find this to be the case with my room. The carpet was not vacuumed very well, and my bathroom was NOT clean. There was black hair everywhere… in the sink and bathtub, as well as on the countertop. I would have asked for a room change if it hadn’t been so late at night when I arrived, and I was tired after traveling. Also, I did not find the staff to be very helpful with answering questions. There were 2 bottles of water in my room, and after opening one, I discovered that they were NOT complimentary, but I would be charged $3/ bottle! With the price I paid for the room, they could have given 2 bottles of water! I decided to not open the second bottle, as I was led to believe that I would not be charged for the second, as long as it was not opened. I was still charged $7.50 for the water when I checked my credit card statement a couple of days later. My breakfast was good, but pricey. Understand that this is also NOT a complimentary breakfast! When I booked the room, I was given the option of adding my breakfast for $12.00. I decided not to do this as I don't eat much. I was just planning on having some fruit and yogurt and coffee. That was even expensive! I highly recommend that you pay for the breakfast when you book, if given the option. I do NOT recommend this hotel and won’t be staying again."

"This location was not well-maintained. While there was nothing necessarily wrong with the accommodations, the rooms lacked a polished feel. The paint was peeling from the walls, paint was chipping in the shower on the tub and during a storm there were leaks throughout the building."

"This place was great but housekeeping was yelling in the hallway this morning before 9am. Then proceeded to knock on our door at 9am and again at 10am. I was tired and wanted to sleep in. Checkout isn’t until noon, which is nice, so why is housekeeping making a raucous at 9am?? Otherwise, everything was great!!"

"I had my 2 grandsons agreed 8 & 10. Both boys were amazed at the room. Everything was so nice and clean. I called down to the front desk to request another blanket. The phone rang about 10 minutes later to make sure we did receive the blanket (that was a nice touch). There was a hot breakfast which the boys enjoyed. I was guessing the breakfast was going to be cold cereal and muffins. I was totally suprised when I saw scrambled eggs, sausage, French toast, biscuits and gravy and more. I found out the pool opened at 6am so the boys were able to go swimming before we checked out. I plan on staying here when I go back next year."
