"The air conditioning worked wonderfully, though the hotel was a wee bit outdated. Not drastically. But could definitely use some more modern day updates. Our bed was half uncomfortable because of the springs in the mattress feeling broken. But other than that, the hotel room was clean and comfortable enough for what we needed."

"The hotel is a unique property with many of the quirks that accompany old buildings. Overall, our stay was quite nice and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. Check-in was easy and the room was clean and prepared for our arrival and the bed was quite comfortable. We had a few minor room maintenance issues toward the end of our stay, but since they occurred at the end, it did not disrupt our visit. Guests should be aware that, as is often the case with old buildings, walls are quite thin, so the conversations of guests in adjacent rooms speaking in conversational tones could be heard at night. However, recommend a visit for a reasonably priced accommodation with an historical vibe."

"It is a beautiful hotel. The staff was wonderful. The restaurant is great. Our disappointment was in the room for the large price we paid. The room was much smaller than others. It did not have a microwave or fridge. The shower was dangerously small and extremely slippery. No hand rails at all. ( has towel racks on glass door but can’t use as a hand rails or it would break the door) The slippery fiberglass floor in the shower had no ridges or protective grooves. Very easy to fall. I know from experience. But beautiful setting and wonderful staff."
