We came here as part of a guided trip with 2 other family members, so 4 of us in total. I recommend paying that bit more to do this as our guide Smile (unsure of spelling but his name is pronounced Smeelay) was a font of interesting information, having been born and bred here. We were lucky with the weather and timing too. Suggest you visit early in the day as the cable car lines get longer from midday onwards.
