Wilderness at its Best!

This place is amazing, I've never stayed at any other places that feel like home from the moment you arrive. The lodge has a unique character, the rooms are clean, and the common areas are tastefully decorated. The owners are super friendly and are doing everything they can to make you feel welcome - the home-made country style breakfast they cook for you every morning is superb!

Jayme and Kris have created the most beautiful lodge in the mountains. They have made it really feel like home. Immediately upon walking in you get a sense of warmth and hospitality. They made it feel like you are staying with family. Between the worlds most comfortable sheets and the best breakfast I've ever had in my life, this lodge will always be my home away from home when i come up to visit. The love and care put into every last detail of this lodge is unmatched. I can not wait to stay here again!

Owner's were very friendly and it was a very homey situation in a beautiful area. I will be back even though it was advertised as having a fireplace in all 5 rooms. The fireplace was only in the main living room. This didn't even hurt the rating. Everything else made it worth it. We will be back in the summer months as well.

En meget varm og personlig oplevelse.

En meget personlig oplevelse venter rejsende på Deer Mountain Lodge. Værtsparret tager imod i det store køkken, hvor de også hver morgen serverer morgenmad. Her er der rig mulighed for både at nyde naturen og mødet med de andre gæster som indfinder sig i stuen og køkkenet i løbet af dagen. Værelserne er fine, badeværelserne lidt små men anvendlige. Det kan varmt anbefales både at vandre i det omkringliggende bjerge og især at tage på ATV ud på nogle af de mange spor der er anlagt til formålet. Er man heldig støder man både på elge og bjørne i området.
