"Excellent hotel in Santorini with a perfect location near the famous Black Beach. The beach is just steps away, with a convenience store next door, restaurants nearby, and a bus stop within walking distance. Ideal for families with children. Excellent breakfast and staff. Close to Fira, yet much quieter and more relaxing overall."
"The location of the hotel is great, it’s close to all the bars, restaurants and sea front in kamari. Decent size pool and bar area. Stayed in an executive suite with outdoor hot tub which was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful and I would stay here again. The only one thing I would recommend is a slight variation in breakfast choice each day so it’s not the same"
"The staff are fabulous at this property, nothing is too much.
The hotel is in a great location.
Breakfast a little bit limited but the omelettes are so tasty.
I would highly recommend this hotel."
"Nice simple place, very quiet and comfortable with a lovely pool. Staff were super helpful and it’s round the corner from the supermarket, cafes etc and bus to Fira."
"We stayed at Volcano View Hotel after renting a car and driving from the airport. Overall this hotel truly deserves its 5 stars. The view is magical, especially if your room faces the ocean. The pool area is beautifully designed: you can swim, relax, and sunbathe while looking out at the ocean through the glass.
Our room was very nice, fresh, clean, and comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent, and everything was changed and taken care of properly. We also really liked the gym. It was clean, high quality, and had very good equipment.
The front desk staff were outstanding. During check-in, check-out, and whenever we had questions, they were kind, patient, and happy to help. They gave us useful local advice, restaurant suggestions, and explained traditions and details that are hard to find online.
The hotel restaurant itself was good, and the buffet was very tasty. However, the only disappointing part was the attitude of some of the girls working in the restaurant. A few times they seemed unfriendly and impatient, and looked at us as if we were doing something wrong. As visitors, we may not always know local customs, but we would expect more kindness and understanding. After two or three uncomfortable experiences, we stopped eating there and chose other restaurants.
I hope the hotel management speaks with the restaurant staff and helps them become more welcoming and professional. This was the only negative point in an otherwise beautiful and high-quality hotel experience."
"Fantastic place to stay.
Quiet, away from crowd with amazing view. Staff is exceptional. Breakfast served was fabulous. Spa was great as well.
In a nutshell I would strongly recommend this resort without reservations!"
"When we first arrived we net Mary and Anna .
They made us feel welcome and even offered us a place to put our luggage as we arrived very early in morning about 6 hours before check in. They also allowed us to have the complimentary breakfast which was included in our booking but would start the next day. They were very helpful and also told us we could use the pool area until our rooms were ready. Georgia was very helpful and very friendly to us. She took time to talk to us and reassured us that everything was going to be OK. She even help us to book our cruise which was lovely I must say. All staff were really helpful and pleasant. When we went to breakfast we met Maria, she was so so helpful and all the breakfast staff was really pleasant and helpful. The cleaners were really nice and very thorough with cleaning. Everyone was really helpful and made our stay a enjoyable one. Costa Grand Resort will definitely be my number one spot for vactioning when I return to Santorini. Customer service and prompt response was excellent. I can't remember all the names of the staffs but they were all great. We just want to say a big THANK YOU for hosting us. The shuttle from the airport was very pleasant and the driver was very engaging. He took us to and from the airport. He was very helpful with our luggage and he helped me to get in and out of the vehicle. I should mentioned that I have a disability and I needed help with mobility. I was treated with care and respect by all staffs."
