"Absolutely stunning property with a very thought out layout and design. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet and had blackout curtains. The restaurant onsite was also delicious and offered a wide range of options. The SPA was so nice and had the best couples message ever. "

"A beautiful, clean hotel on the Douro Valley. Opening the balcony door in the morning, a fresh breeze greeted me, and the sound of roosters crowing in the distant mountains marked a beautiful start to the day. The room and bed were comfortable. And the breakfast was super. I'd definitely stay here again."

"The most magical place I've been to! The hotel is an old estate and they have redone it beautifully. The staff was first class, the food delicious and there were so many activities to sign up for! "The vineyard is truly beautiful. The scenery is outstanding and really adds the the luxurious feeling of this hotel. The bed was enormous, it was like having a whole double bed each. The food selection on breakfast and evening was good and not overly expensive. The only complaint would be the wait time on drinks by the pool, there was only one staff member to make drinks and sort food orders so we were often waiting a long time for drinks. This was pacified by having two pools to cool off in and lounge by. I’d absolutely stay again. "
