The onsite property manager, Rene, is excellent! Check-in could have been confusing but I called as I pulled into the lot and he met me. He is also very friendly and was helpful for our entire stay. The unit is brand new, clean and had all we needed. As some others have commented, the area is in early development stage and you do have to drive everywhere to eat and shop. Also, it's so new that we weren't too sure of the shuttle situation - other resorts seems to have shuttle access, and I'm guessing that will be a fully available here before too long. The walk to the lift is fairly easy down but pretty arduous back up after a day of skiing. All and all, considering the relative price and convenience of the Jordanelle lift, it was perfect for 4 days of spring break skiing when availability was really limited closer to the Snow Park Lodge. Will return!

The property manager, Rene, was fantastic. He answered the telephone when I called and answered all my questions about the unit. He met me at the door early in the morning so I could drop off my luggage before skiing. He personally showed me to the unit. He was also very responsive to questions I had during the stay. The Pioche is very close to the Jordanelle gondola.

There was really nothing special about this place. Expensive but it was the only place I could find on a ski weekend. We were in town for a memorial.

The apartments are brand-new. Everything just works and is clean. The flat layout is also pretty great. The bed in the apartment was comfortable, and the pillows were just to my liking. The host(ess) very responsive and considerate. The check-in and -out very convenient and easy... It would be 6/5 starts for the place if hair drier was available. In short, everything was superb, except for the desolate surroundings and the gondola (Jordanelle) which was closed most of the week we were there. The wind kicked up preceding the storm, and I later heard from DV staff that Jordanelle is one of the first lifts to close when that's the case. Snow Park Lodge is ~20min driving on a good day. If this is a risk you are willing to take, I wholeheartedly recommend the place.
