The room itself was fine. What was unacceptable were the Towels and face cloths. They were of very poor quality and so rough that I would never use them to wash or dry my cars for fear of scratching them. I am by no means a guy who stays in or is use to a 5 star experience but these towels and face cloths were worse than any lower end hotel I have stayed in!

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room itself was basically clean but the mold in the bathtub and broken tiles and hole in the bathroom door discouraged me from taking a shower. The shower curtain was even on backwards. The extra security lock on our door had been broken off and put back on in a very flimsy way. Pillows were lumpy with no inner cases. Breakfast was, as we were informed by front desk staff, light. An apt description. I had expected better from this chain.

Several people stated in their reviews that the property had been partially updated. We saw very few signs of updating. The breakfast buffet was quite limited. We were there on a Monday night so perhaps it has more options on weekends when there are more people there. It was relatively quiet and easy drive to places we wanted to go.

Stay there every time we go the MCFTA for a performance. Close to the theater and close to dining options. Staff always friendly; clean rooms, good breakfast.

Staff was great! Professional, efficient and friendly! The stay was peaceful and enjoyable. Room was nice and clean. Swimming pool and hot tub were in need of some upkeep. The pool deck was dirty as well as pool and tub. Water was well chlorinated and looked clean. It didnt stop us from swimming, since everything else in the Hotel was SO SPARKLY CLEAN ! I felt like this was an oversight. I will definitely stay at Windham again!!

The Baymont in midland was wonderful, and so kind! Pool area very nice! Easy check in and out. I really enjoyed this hotel. I belive at hotels that staff members are the face of the building and these ladies made us feel so welcome. The place was decorated so cute for CHRISTmas too!

Terrible service
The person at the desk was rude and not helpful. Would not let me check in even though I booked the room, paid, and had the confirmation number in my email because it asked for additional guests names and I put my sister’s name. Since her name was on it only she could check in even though it was my reservation.

I am sorry but your sister's name was the only name on the prepaid reservation. It is standard policy that the person who's name is on the reservation be the one to check in, especially when it is already paid for. I was simply doing my job. When your sister checked in she seemed fine with it.
