So this place was having a soft open so it wasn’t fully open. This would be a nice place for a person who just wants a quick get away and to relax not really for people who want to party and have fun. It’s like two hours from the airport do you have to drive but it was a nice drive. I’m sure it will be better when it’s fully open. We did not stay we left and went elsewhere.

This is a beautiful location if you’re willing to make the hour and a half drive from the airport. The resort offers transportation, but you have to call and arrange directly with the resort. We did not find that out until our last day and had already made arrangements to and from and paid for the out of pocket.

In general, I liked the resort. Beach had no seaweed. Villas were beautiful. Restaurants are top notch especially sushi. There were very few guests in the resort, and it felt like it was all for us. I did not like that there was no breakfast buffet for 4 days out of 8. The resort was giving us any items from the buffet on request. Breakfast was “a la carte”. It is not bad and even fancy, but I like to see the food. Also I did not like the yoga music all over the resort. It was not off and playing until after 10pm. I put my child to bed at 9 pm, and she was not able to fall asleep because of this music. Resort is on a long beach, and you can walk about 3 miles to the left all the way to Viva Resort. Area has mountains and is beautiful. There is a little river next to the beach where you can see turtles. Staff were friendly. We saw a lot of sea stars on the beach.

We were looking to go to Punta Cana when this property caught our eye. We didn't realize when we booked that it was 90 minutes from Punta Cana, but what a blessing. This place was a perfect choice for our relaxing getaway. There are many wonderful accolades I can share, but I will start with the staff. They are AMAZING. Everyone is extremely friendly and attentive. We were here early in their opening so not all of the restaurants were open but there plenty of options and most of the food was quite good. The beach was beautiful with soft sand, gentle waves and warm water (And they serve you on the beach). It's a big world so I rarely return to a location, but I'm planning to return here next month!

Rooms and resort were Very clean and quiet. Staff was friendly. But only 1 pool was open. They did not have “do not disturb” signs on the doors. So every morning the house keeping staff would knock and wake you up to ask if you wanted the room cleaned. The food aspect was also not good. there weren’t many options for food. Only 1 a la carte restaurant opened per night for dinner. Or only the buffet, which didn’t have a lot of variety and whatever they did have, wasn’t very tasty. They didn’t have any nightly entertainment other than kareoke. Hope they improve on the food aspect.

Really loved this stay but there were some minor issues: For example, I had an issue with JetBlue and they refused to refund me the money from the one night I didn't stay. Also, they were causing issues when I checked in late; they claimed I was not on the reservation list. They gave me dinner (room service) 2 hours after I checked in. On top of that, they gave us the wrong room–– we ordered two queen beds but instead they gave us a King size bed with a Jacuzzi. Besides that, everyone was friendly!

A Wonderful Vacation Experience at Marriott Miches Beach! I recently enjoyed a fantastic vacation at the Marriott Miches Beach All-Inclusive Resort in El Seibo, Dominican Republic, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. The property itself is beautiful and well-maintained, but what truly made the trip unforgettable was the exceptional staff. Jessica at the front desk was amazing—very professional and incredibly kind. She made sure we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. Rene from the concierge team was also outstanding—so polite and funny, adding a warm, personal touch to our stay. At the restaurants, we were blown away by the hospitality. Beatriz at the café, along with Yazmin, Mari, and the rest of the breakfast and lunch team, were absolutely wonderful. The chefs and kitchen staff consistently served up delicious and diverse dishes—we truly enjoyed every meal. A special mention goes to Keilan, the restaurant supervisor during dinner. She is not only a great human being but also generous and attentive to both guests and staff. Her kindness and leadership truly stood out. Raul, who provided nightly entertainment, was funny, engaging, and talented. His shows wouldn’t have been the same without the support of his supervisor from Venezuela, and Victor at the bar, who added to the fun with great service and energy. I recently stayed at this all-inclusive resort, and I can’t say enough good things about it! The property is exceptionally clean, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The front door attendant was outstanding—he spoke English fluently and was incredibly helpful. He even arranged for us to step off the resort to explore and enjoy some local food, which was a great touch. The entertainment staff truly made the trip special, keeping the vibe fun and lively every day. With multiple restaurants on-site and 24-hour room service, the dining options were fantastic. Everything felt so laid back, with no pressure, making it easy to relax and enjoy. The highlight was on our last day when the kitchen staff surprised us with a delicious lunch by the pool before we left. It was such a thoughtful gesture and the perfect way to end our stay. The only downside is the hour-and-a-half ride from Punta Cana Airport, but honestly, it’s worth it for the amazing experience this resort offers. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly, relaxing, and fun vacation spot!

It was our first time ever traveling to Dominican Republic and we were so so happy to have had the luck to come across this great place. If you are looking for a private beach atmosphere, this is the place. ❤️ We literally had the beach all to ourselves and it was the most incredible experience. The scenery is breathtaking and the food was amazing. All was supreme but the best thing the hotel had was the outstanding service from EVERY SINGLE staff member. From Joel at the front that greeted us with the biggest smile and comfort to Keila and Ronal at the restaurant and the amazing Chef who was always there making us special requests due to our eating habits. I also wanted to thank Leo and Beatriz at the bar station, their smile and attention to detail was so captivating. Last but certainly not least the one who makes this whole team possible, Dasa. She was always always there, attentive to anything that was going on and making it work when we wanted or needed something. The team is superb and one thing that caught my attention is that everyone was always aware of what was going on, if we had needed let’s say towels… they would come around asking (others who we did not ask for towels) about the towels…as if they all communicated on our needs. I had a wonderful stay at Marriott Miches, a smaller, well-maintained resort with a stunning beach and top-tier customer service. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and secure, even as a solo female traveler. The beach was a highlight—pristine, with no seaweed, rocks, coral, or sudden drop-offs. The resort’s low occupancy during my stay made it even more enjoyable, allowing me to connect with a fantastic group of fellow guests. The staff was exceptional, providing warm and attentive service. Luis & Juan (beach bartenders) – Took great care of me throughout the day. Junior (bartender extraordinaire) – Had my Espresso Martini ready before dinner and a Dirty Martini waiting after. Restaurant Team – Daniel, Scarla, Angeny, Juan 1, Juan 2, Victor, Joel, Rolendo, and many others went above and beyond. The rotating à la carte restaurants and nightly buffet provided plenty of variety, allowing guests to try different dishes throughout their stay. My basic room was modern, clean, and comfortable, featuring a well-stocked minibar, a spacious shower, a comfortable bed, and adjustable lighting. A few small enhancements could make this already great resort even better: Provide slippers in the rooms Upgrade the alcohol selection—Don Julio/Patrón, Grey Goose/Tito’s would be a plus. Increase shaded beach seating—more cabanas with full coverage or additional palapas closer to the water would enhance the experience. Would love to return!

We lucked out with a week that had very low occupancy for 6 of our 7 nights, so the pool, restaurants, and beach were very serene. That changed on our last night, a Friday, when several families checked in! Regardless, we were so impressed by the quality of the accommodations and the food--some of the best dinners we've had at any all-inclusive resort. Service at the restaurants was incredibly attentive; at the beach, however, the staff preferred to chat amongst themselves at the bar rather than check on their guests. All guests are currently being housed in what will be an adults-only section of the resort while renovations continue at the much larger main resort (the long curved buildings). We appreciated the included airport transportation (even though the scheduled pickup driver was very late). It was about a 90 minute drive to/from PUJ. Housekeeping was efficient, but there is no turndown service as advertised. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly, but the shower would not provide hot water (only warm). We did report this but apparently it could not be fixed. Be aware that the resort is separated from the beach by a mangrove, so there are no ocean views from any rooms, bars, or restaurants. The beach is pretty and often deserted, but the water is not the clear blue of Bavaro or Juanillo. Most days were green or yellow flag conditions, so good for swimming--and there were never any annoying vendors! It's currently a great value!
