The rooms are extremely comfortable, quiet and dark at night. The pool area has breathtaking views. Breakfast was delicious and generous."

"The hotel is perhaps a little dated but the views across the bay to Ajaccio are truly outstanding and the pool area is superb. Our stay was made magical by the cats that populate the grounds and by the herd of wild boar that visited in the evening, overnight and in the morning. We awoke to the grunting sounds of the boar and looked down from our balcony on them snuffling for nuts on the ground. Seeing a family of boar, with three tiny piglets, was especially magical.

"Although clean (and the bed comfortable), the main problem with my room was a terrible stench that seemed to emerge from the direction of the air conditioner and which lingered in the room despite airing it. I thought at first this was a result of seaside heat and humidity, so I didn't report the smell. A few days later, when I opened the safe the day before my departure, my passport and other valuables were wet. That is when I realized that the nasty odor was due to chronic leaking of the AC...
