The hotel is clean, uniquely styled, in a safe upscale touristy area, with several nice restaurants nearby. The included simple breakfast was nice. Easy walking to lots of main tourist attractions and transportation options. Staff was friendly and helpful as needed. Would stay there again if in Mexico City.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful, so many restaurant options in the area (gluten free included) and felt safe. Hotel is in a great location and has a cool modern industrial look.

The property offers affordable, clean, great value accommodation with efficient use of space and the amenities you need. Staff are friendly and approachable. The map and digital guide is incredibly helpful. The gym is very basic though

This place is as described. It is in a great location and many places are walkable from the hotel. I do wish they gave us towels when we arrived to our room. We had to ask for some and they didn’t supply us extras for the bathroom, so we had none to dry our hands or for use when getting out of the shower. Aside from that the rooms were nice and they gave us water after every cleaning service. They had flexible checkin hours which was nice since we had a late flight coming into Mexico. All the staff were very friendly.

I quite liked this stay. The area is amazing for restaurants and the staff is great. I slept really well. The bed was really comfortable. The fresh fruit was nice at breakfast. I wish they had a plant based milk for the cereal instead of only cow milk though They need new towels.

Great Location, Clever Style
Love the location of this hotel in the heart of the trendy Roma neighborhood. Hoteles MX is a budget hotel chain, but each hotel has creative and clever design details, and I like that a lot. I felt the rates were rather high for a budget chain at this property, but the fab location is surely the reason why. The free breakfast is a selling point. Overall, I'd say this isn't for travelers seeking luxury, but it's good if you're looking for a comfy, kind of cool hotel in one of Mexico City's best neighborhoods.

They have a little table like a dinning room that is very uncomfortable and you can sit down very easy, the tabke was foldable and did not have any secure or lock we did not notice that and when we were about eat our dinner the table fall and all our coffe, hot meal and pastries ended on the floor making a huge mess. Very sad went to complaint and they did not even care about the fact that my dinner was trased I lost 30 dollars total. That is a really unsafe part of the room need to fix as soon as possible.

Great Place in a great location
Great hotel in a great area. I wish the rooms would be bigger but I understand that's the style of the hotel. It does need some minor repairs here and there...I recall my room having some messy plaster on one of the walls.

Really outstanding hotel near the center of Roma Norte. I came here for the location -- almost all the best restaurants are walking distance -- but I was pleasantly surprised at the fast wifi, free breakfast, rooftop patio, and excellent maintenance of the facilities.

Very nice hotel. Almost everyting was excellent. The only detail is that if you got a room facing the street it is going to be noisy early in the morning.

The staff and location were very nice. It is located in a great safe area and around a lot of convenient restaurants and grocery stores. The hotel itself felt more like a noisy hostel. A few nights we had to compain about noise on the terrace (which is supposed to close at a certain time).. people were doing karaoke or having a loud get together and the sound travels all throughout the hotel. And I think there are a couple rooms reserved for bunks like a hostel and those guests were very noisy leaving their doors open next to all the other normal hotel rooms. Besides that the room itself had a lot of minor inconveniences. The bed is shoved into the corner so if one person wants to get out of bed they need to crawl over the partner. So my wife and I ended up sleeping in separate beds.. not exactly romantic. We didn't have any seats or table in the room so we would need to eat in bed if we brought anything back to the hotel. The bathroom counter has a metal grate.. you can't place anything on it without toiletries falling through. So many things like that.

Cute hotel, I really liked the charm of it! The room was was nice, a little dirty on the floor and ledges but overall everything else was clean. AC Worked really well which I appreciated! The wifi didn’t work in my room/very spotty . But was great in other parts of hotel. Loved the chair swing , I would cal and text from them occasionally

Basic hotel, stay only if you get a good price
Hotel is modern but basic. It has a more private room hostel vibe than a hotel. It has pros and cons. Pros - Hotel location is great. Lots of restaurants around, very safe, coffee shop and supermarket are just around the corner from hotel. I have a suit with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Rooms are big. Roof top is nice with a gym. Staffs are very helpful. Breakfast is included. Basic but it includes eggs, fruit, toast, ..., etc. Cons - No furniture in room. It will be nice to have at least a chair/bench to put on or take off shoes. Safe is not mounted to the wall or shelf. You can actually take the whole safe away. One last thing is something that I don't understand. I stayed for 3 nights. The first night had no pillow case with the pillows in both rooms. I arrived after midnight and I didn't want to trouble anyone to bring the pillow cases up. The housekeeper came to clean and tidy the room the next day but still didn't put on the missing pillow cases. Finally, the housekeeper changed the bedsheets and put on the pillow cases on the third day. I am not sure why it was missing in the first 2 days and the housekeeper didn't notice it on the 2nd day when tidy up the room and bed? It left me wonder that was the room cleaned before I arrived and the towel were clean? I got a very reasonable price to my room so I wasn't too disappointed. If I have to pay full price, I will not be staying at this hotel.

We were two families, visiting Mexico City for the first time. The family rooms are amazing! The hotel is perfectly located to walk to some of of the most beautiful areas in the city. Amazing parks and cafes, restaurants and bars!

The A/C in the second room in our suite did not work. We had to mention this twice before hotel receptionist came in, took a picture of our A/C, and never fixed it. We were there for 5 nights. There were roaches in my bathroom every night. Maids never changed sheets or cleaned room

Unique charm in a great area!
Place was great and in an awesome location. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Unique style and charm. Very safe hotel and neighborhood. Only downside was Wi-Fi but was very spotty and water pressure was low at times.

I’ve stayed here twice. The first trip was perfect!!! This one, not so much!! Let me start with the bad: my room (104) had some issues. The water in the shower would get backed up every single time I showered. The bathroom had chips all throughout, and there were some questionable areas throughout the small room that looked as though there had not been a thorough In quite some time. Also, the walls in this room seemed to be paper thin, I could here EVERYTHING! The good: the staff here is AMAZING!!!!! So accommodating and sweet. The neighborhood is a gem. If I wanted to spend my entire trip just walking around the area near the hotel, I would have been perfectly fine

MX hotels is a modern view of hospitality. Basic, simple, smart hotel. Very colorful. Comfy beds. The neighborhood is beautiful. Very close to restaurants, bars and historical places. The staff is almost invisible (which can be a good thing). The do the minimal, but still it was ok. Nothing to eat at the hotel. If you are getting the breakfast included deal. Be sure to be before 10 am. Otherwise there is nothing to eat or drink (besides some sugary beverages) All and all. It was a good stay. I would stay here again.
