Good place to stay near many city attractions. Also safe due to how close it it's to the presidents palace. If your looking for luxury go some place else. But to sleep showed and stay on the go perfect place. Breakfast is off-site and the food options are limited but again if your on the go so not to much or a problem. Hotel also facilities tours to the piramide and other places so no need to find them outside. It is recommended !

There were several cockroaches in the room, and I couldn't sleep due to the loud music from the bar next to the hotel.

Staff was very friendly and helpful; If you need a taxi, reception gets you one in no time. The location of this hotel is great. You can walk to the center and there a lot to see with in 15 min walk. The hotel it self is fair 3 star hotel with clean rooms and basic services. Room is an OK size with no amenities like coffee machine or water boiler, only two bottles of water. But, I have one thing to suggest when you check in. Make sure you request for a quiet room away from the noise because there's a bar right next to the hotel and the noise are pretty loud until 3am.

The photos of this hotel appear lovely until you arrive. The carpet was stained, our room smelled of cigarette smoke, there were roaches in the hallway AND there was no hot water. We stayed one night and had to relocate to another hotel. The management stated they would issue a refund for the remaining nights that had been paid in advance. Unfortunately, processing the partial refund has been a nightmare. Expedia has tried contacting the property to no avail.

The hotel staff was good and the lobby appeared clean however the room itself was dirty and had roaches. We found at least half a dozen of them periodically in the bathroom.

People are nice and helpful. There is a disco nearby and loud music all evening and part of the night, people talking loud just outside … not the hotel’s fault it I had a really bad night.

Great location but is noisy from the street and rooms are small. Had some issues with water which took most the day to get back going. Some of the staff was helpful and other couldn’t care less almost rude.

We endured a 15-night stay at the hotel, where they assigned us a room next to a noisy night club. Despite requesting a room change, they claimed it wasn't possible. To add to the frustration, they notified us on the first day that water would be shut off from 11 am to 7 pm for one day. But unfortunately hotle Canada keeped turning off the water for 3 days.When we contacted them to express our concerns and seek compensation, they refused to assist. Our experience was unpleasant, and we won't be returning. We sought Orbitz's help for a refund, but the hotel repeatedly claimed the manager was unavailable when contacted by Orbitz.

Great location. Easy walk to the Zocalo. We even walked around noon to La Lagunilla, Tepito to eat barbacoa next to the Templo del Carmen. Lots of food around the hotel and near the Zocalo including at night. Breakfast is included and made to order. The only thing I would have liked is some spicy salsas to acompany the breakfast which were traditional dishes like enchiladas and chilaquiles. Food seemed a little bland because it was missing some spice. They also have fruit, eggs and hotcakes. There is some construction going on in the building and the noise woke us up, but it was fine because it made us get up to start our day!

No lo recomiendo
Mala experiencia, lo único bueno es la ubicación, pero hay muchísimos mas hoteles a los alrededores, para empezar no hay servicio sanitario en recepción, llegamos quería entrar al baño y no habían. Las habitaciones pequeñísimas, viejas, con olor a desagüe. Las toallas viejas, el cuarto obscuro que la iluminación es poca, el elevador viejisimo solo hay 1 y solo caben 3 personas. Todo todo se escucha entre habitaciónes. El desayuno fatal, es a la carta pero es horrible y es pequeñisimo el comedor, no lo recomiendo y no regresaria, hay mas opciones y mejores a los alrededores

Great location, but during night is very loud because of the bar by hotel. Bathroom is horrible. After shower water staying on the floor all day. Service is amazing. Breakfast is good.

The hotel is very old. Rooms are too small. Although the housekeeping staff do a great job cleaning the carpet is old and stained. The towels are oldand not very clean. There's no air conditioning in the room . The lend out fana but they don't really cool the room. Very noisy area of town making it impossible to sleep.

The property is in a great location on 5 de Mayo with Palacio de las Bellas Artes to the west and Zocalo to the east and close to several subway stations. There are some restaurants across the street that stay open very late and a nice bar next door. Because of its location, the front entrance can be closed due to protests from time to time and you have to enter by a side door; such as the night we arrived. It took us and our driver some time to figure it out. A bit disconcerting. Check-in was easy. Staff nice. Our room was clean but very small. We joked we had to go outside to change our minds. We did see that other rooms were bigger. The rooms don’t seem to have air conditioning or fans. Our window opened onto the alley beside the bar, so we were not able to keep it open much and there were mosquitoes. I found it very difficult to sleep. We asked to change rooms, but the hotel was full. There is a nice Mexican breakfast included with the room, which was great for us. It’s on the 6th floor which had a view. Nothing fancy but good. The elevator was inadequate. It fit four people max, not including luggage so we took the stairs more than we would have liked. On our last day, it was out of order which was a real pain for staff and guests, especially the elderly. We aren’t the fussiest of travellers and often stay in hotels where we’re the only foreigners. We found these things mildly annoying. However, for some people these things could be very hard to accept

The staff is very welcoming. The bellhop, the next morning remembered me by my first name when he said, good morning. The breakfast. It was delicious.!!! The room was clean, and I definitely will be staying here in the future.
