The gentleman at the front desk was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, he gave me valuable suggestions on my trips. He offered to keep my snacks in the fridge ( none at the room). The room has basic features, clean.

Hotel bien ubicado, cercano a la estación de trenes. Habitación confortable. Staff muy amable. Buen desayuno. Como había pagado extra por el desayuno me permitían servirme café, té, chocolate o lo que quisiera de la máquina, sin cargo, en cualquier momento del día. También me explicaron como llegar a las principales atracciones turísticas. Es destacable la buena predisposición de la gente de recepción, algo no tan común en el noreste de Francia.

The location outside the train station and near the rental car office was great for us. The room needs an update. The carpets and bedding are worn. But the room was clean and worked for one night. Internet worked well.

Super quick stay but very nice service. Only thing is that the walls were a bit thin in between the rooms. I thought I was gonna have a heart attack whenever I was about to fall asleep and I thought someone was going in to my room. BUT a nice stay overall.

For a substitute hotel, very good!
My original choice hotel was closed / sold by Accor Hotels, so I was offered the Bristol. The Bristol is derectly across the street from the rail station where I arrived and after picking up my rental car was able to park at the station overnight for two nights. The staff was great and although I had limited interaction with them because of my touring schedule, they were helpful and personable.

Great discovery. Perfect train station hotel.
I was surprised. Friendly staff, very clean and no odd smells. No coffee / water kittel. I would stay again. Great and perfect for short one night stand so you can make a early morning train connection. Very very quiet.

Staying in france is easy.
Very easy to get around. Checked out the bus to Airport and back, nothing was complicated. Getting around by bus from the hotel is cheep and very efficient.

A nice welcome to a great location.
Hotel Bristol is convenient for my train arrival. From there, access to Metz is OK by walking. Hotel has free WiFi, but only downstairs is a secure router. Housekeeping did a great job. My only complaint is the guests who regularly smoke in the "non-smoking" hotel, and the middle-of-the-night fire alarm that they set off.

Great convenience to the GARE!!
For an overnight, it's not a bad place. This is especially true if you have to catch an early train, considering the station is literally within view when you step out onto the street. The front desk is also pleasant and helpful.

This hotel is good for its price. I stayed 4 nights in a standard twin room which has a bathroom with tub, a window to small street, a desk with chair, LCD TV, two closets and side tables for both beds. Hotel itself is quite old but the room was quite spacious. However, in the bathroom I could smell the fungus a little bit. It took about 10 minutes to get to the old town (Plaza Republique) and 1 minute to the Metz station. Staffs are very kind. Comparing with other hotels with similar price, this hotel is still a good choice although there're many bad comments in the past, especially before 2013.

Loved it!
I wasn't sure what to expect after some of the reviews but I thought it was wonderful. It was a bit dated but that didn't bother me and I loved the giant windows. Not too far to walk to the sights and just a minutes walk from the train station.

L’hôtel est facilement accessible et est à 3 minutes à pied de la gare. Le personnel est très sympathique et courtois. Par contre c’est un vieil immeuble peu insonorisé. Nous pouvions très bien entendre nos voisins parler et utiliser la salle de bain.
