Had a lovely weekend at The Moorings recently check in to check out was simple and everything was exceptional. The apartment was very spacious for the 4 of us, the amenities were excellent. Walking distance to the local pub and cafes. Will definitely be back next year with our boat as there were moorings right at the back to use.

Check in was easy and quick. Our room was very clean and comfortable. It’s a very small town, but there is coffee across the road and a few doors down. A great indoor pool and spa and the water across the road. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

Room adequate, clean with comfy bed… Only down side - ridiculously tiny, old school clip to wall bracket style, hair dryer that kept cutting out after 2 mins of use…given the great pool and lots of access to water sports - a decent hairdryer is a must!

Overall disappointed, I travel frequently for work and get the opportunity to stay at different accommodation. The accommodation looked great in the pictures but for the cost it wasn't value for money. You could hear what the next room was discussing, the road was basically out the back door and while one person could sit on a lounge chair the other had a choice of sitting on the bed or dining chair and add a charge at the mini bar for water. The previous night I stayed at accommodation, which was $100 cheaper with two recliners, better presented and more room along with free water, orange juice, milk, cereal, etc for breakfast the following morning for their guests, Unfortunately I won't be coming back in the near future.

We were very disappointed in our stay. It was my husbands birthday weekend staying at the Mourings at Meetung and we left looking forward to coming home for a decent sleep and shower. Our bed had a doonah/top sheet that was obviously suitable only for the night when snow was expected as it was soo hot we had to sleep with out it and then the pillows were either hard and lumpy or loose and empty so that ruined our sleep. When we woke the shower with the lowest water pressure was our next concern and that’s if your not 6 foot and can fit under it and then you are just against the soap holder. Which is stupid use of space after what was a very large bathroom. Also you can hear the above neighbours going to the toilet and showering as it sounds like the plumbing went along our roof. What was good is the outdoor area to sit and drink a wine.
