The breakfasts were lovely, overlooking the valley. We loved the pool area too. The accomodation itself was spacious and had everything you needed. "We loved our stay at Quinta de la Rosa! The hotel and the surrounding areas are absolutely beautiful. The property is about 20mins walk from Pinhao, and getting a taxi from the station is recommended if you are coming by train as there is quite a hill. The room was comfortable and well maintained. We were in Amarela which is an annex a 3 min walk away from the main property with it's own pool and living space. There are quite a few hills and step in the property, a buggy service for those with luggage might have been useful so watch out if you have heavy or large luggage. The restaurant and food was excellent, as was breakfast in the morning. Staff were extremely helpful, giving us a tour of the property and all the info we could need!"

"Beautiful bed & breakfast, up the hill from downtown Regua. Nice view looking down to the Douro River. The house is tastefully decorated. Breakfast was very good, lots to choose from. You really need a car if you stay here or have to call taxis. Even though they're just a mile from the train station the owner will not drop you off or pick you up."
