"Bon rapport qualité/prix. La nuit, l’ambiance lumineuse n’est pas très agréable. Le parking était à chaque fois plein, nous obligeant à nous garer dans la rue."

"The apartment was incredibly spacious and well outfitted for a family of 4 to enjoy. The washing facilities were also very affordable. These apartments were in the middle of everything and very walkable to them, shops and restaurants but it wasn't too loud."

Great location bang opposite the main station, few good supermarkets next to it as well.
As we were the first guest to check in to the hotel we were welcomed by a nice bottle of wine & some chocolates too. Highly recommend this hotel for a short stay or even a bit longer.
Look forward to coming again to Schaffhausen and city pop.

My wife and I have recently returned from a long weekend in Schaffhausen and stayed at the Sorell Hotel Rueden. Having a central hotel is ideal for the restaurants and shops and I don't think they come much better than this. The hotel lobby and rooms have a more traditional feel to them which gives the hotel a warm and appealing feel throughout. The open fire in the lobby is a great place to unwind and have a drink at the end of the day. As with any service industry it is the staff that makes...

Best hotel room during my stay in Germany. Lovely and friendly family run hotel. Just note there is no lift/elevator. Restaurant was nice and busy too.

A straightforward automated check in at a machine by the entrance door to about two minutes. The hotel is clean and has a modern feel inside an old railway station building. The bedroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was very large and well equipped. Be careful in the shower though - I found the shower tray very slippery when wet!. There is a bar and restaurant at the hotel which seemed very popular with the locals. There is a beer garden across the street and eateries...

We enjoyed our stay and although a little dated the room was a good size and the balcony was worth paying extra for. We had a ground floor room which was handy as we travel with our two mini dachshunds.
Breakfast was ok, adequate and offered good seating areas. Parking was free and just outside the door.
