"Fantastic long weekend in Saint Emilion! Our host Michel was wonderful, super helpful and friendly throughout our stay at 537. Very communicative offering lots of advice on the local area and any questions we had were answered quickly and clearly. "It was an absolute delight to stay with Nathalie and Olivier who have lovingly restored the Chateau. They were charming hosts and made the stay one to remember. The renovation of the chateau provides a modern and spacious room that has also retained the charm of the old building. The meals were delightful and prepared by the hosts using fresh local produce. I'd thoroughly recommend Malis Castera to anyone wanting to stay in the wine region."

"Its location is brilliant. Make sure you get directions from the hotel directly before you arrive. I would stay again"

"A beautiful boutique style hotel with an exceptional restaurant"

"As soon as we arrived we were disappointed. The door was locked and we had to wait with our luggage all day until 4 pm. No one in site. The room was good. We rented a car and had to park it outside up the road leading in to St Emilion. Breakfast basic . The owner said we could only come to eat at 9 am ... We overstayed our time in St Emillion...5 nights. I would recommend no more than 2.."

"We stayed 1 night. The hotel is clean, quiet and beautifully decorated. The staff were helpful. You can park in front of the hotel for a fee. The breakfast was ok, too heavily on the carbs/sweets."
