"A little gem in Mérida, a few steps away from the train station and near all important attractions of this cozy little town. If you’re a history buff and want to know more about the Roman Empire in Hispania (Spain) you should visit this city and stay at this small inn. "

"This property is very close to the Temple of Diana and a short walk to the other Roman antiquity sites, dining and the Roman bridge. Our room was tired and not as clean as it should be. The lights were unstable and the shower mechanisms are faulty. The biggest negative was the smell. When we arrived the room smelled of bleach but on each return from a day out the room smelled like a sewer. We couldn’t figure out where the smell was coming from and had to leave the windows open to freshen the air. Be prepared for parking anxiety if arriving or leaving at a busy time. There are two small spots located around a tight corner for luggage pickup and drop off on a very busy narrow street. The staff does not help with luggage. Overall a great location but as far as condition and value for money it does not hit the mark."
