Beautiful hotel in lovely location. Unfortunately I arrived too late and left too early to take advantage of the spa and wonderful swimming pool. But I will return to do so at a later date. Very welcome break from a long drive through the small mountain roads.

Weekend Stay

Stayed for two nights. Location is nice with free bus connection to the city center. Service and front desk personell was friendly. Issues: - Property is worn down (except for the remodeled bathrooms). - Cleaning staff entered the room twice while still sleeping - ANTS! Minibar area and desk was clearly invaded by ants and even after complaining at the front desk, no action was taken / no alternative was offered to us (e.g. another room). Definitely an overrated and overpriced hotel for the experience offered.

Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Pool konnten wir auch noch im September genießen und der Weg in die Stadt war sehr angenehm zu gehen

Momentan ist eine Baustelle in der Nähe. Dafür kann das Hotel aber nichts. Das Hotel ist zwar schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und ordentlich. Die Angestellten sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Ruhiges Hotel mit Charme

Meine Frau und ich haben 4 Tage in Meran verbracht. Das Hotel Juliane ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Und trotzdem ist man sehr schnell zu Fuss oder mit dem Bus im Zentrum. Das Hotel hat sehr viel Charme. Die Aussenanlage und der Pool sind sehr schön!

Good staff, Good location, room is ok.

The service was very friendly and helpful. The location was great as well. After dinner the 10 to 15 min walk back to the hotel was rather enjoyable. I felt the mattress and pillow could have been better. they felt squishy, but not in a comfortable way. Also, I felt the room could have had more and better placed electrical outlets. The final complaint is the hotel was experiencing internet issues while I was there, but this was most likely fixed just after I left. Overall I enjoyed my time at the hotel.

A perfect stay

Amazing hotel, the service superb, the breakfast was perfect. I booked for one and it came with a single bed where im used to a double or queen minimum but i guess this is standard in parts of europe.

Unterschiedlich gutes Personal

Positiv ist die Lage des Hotels unweit von Schloss Trautmannsdorff und auch in die Innenstadt ist es nicht weit. Defizite sind beim Personal und Service zu vermerken, wobei ich das Personal an der Rezeption ausdrücklich ausnehme, das war durchweg freundlich, aber ansonsten überwiegte die Unfreundlichkeit, man kam sich teilweise nicht wie ein Gast, sondern wie ein Störenfried vor.

Excellent Sud Tyrol hospitality

This hotel is a 20 min walk from the centre of Merano, and is set in leafy surroundings of (mostly) large houses. A tranquil and up market environment. The hotel is clean, very comfortable with outstanding service from all the staff we met. The hotel restaurant was also excellent both for dinner and breakfast. Merano itself is a larger town than we had expected but the centre is very easy to explore with plenty cafes, restaurants and shops worthy of browsing. The gardens/walking paths either side of the river are a great asset to the town.

Freundlichkeit im Villenviertel

Im Villenviertel in Meran, unweit vom Sissiweg liegt versteckt ein Hotel, schwer zu finden, auch mit Navi , privat geführt, dessen Freundlichkeit des Personals mich dann doch überrascht hat. Selten, dass jemand mal auf die unterschiedlichen Charaktere so dezitiert eingeht. Sonderwünsche wurden sofort und problemlos erfüllt. Meran Zentrum zu Fuß war kein Problem. Am Denkmal von Sissi fühlte man sich direkt in die damalige Zeit versetzt. Die Busanbindung zurück war ideal.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel zum Wohlfühlen

Das Hotel liegt nur wenige Schritte von der Bushaltestelle entfernt, und zu Fuß sind es ca. 10-15 Minuten nach Meran. Gut Ausgangslage für allerlei Unternehmungen. Das Frühstück lies keine Wünsche offen, und das abendliche Menü war der reinste "Gourmet-schmaus". Die Anlage mit Innen- und Außenbecken sowie Saunen- und Fitnessbereich ist sehr gepflegt und auch das Personal ist überaus freundlich. Alles in allem sehr, sehr zu empfehlen!

Perfect!

One of the best hotels I ever stayed in! This hotel may not have the most modern rooms, the biggest balconies or the greatest views of the area, but the staff, the service and the food is absolutely outstanding. You are treated as a personal guest of the family, very warm and accommodating. The hotel itself is kept to a very high standard. The style is a bit out of date, but classy and comfortable in its own way. Spotless and clean all over the place. Breakfast is really good. You can ask for special coffee like cappuccino og egg-dishes at no extras. Really nice garden with several places to relax on comfy sunbeds - in the shade or in the sun. The swimming pool adds extra value on sunny days, and when it rains the indoor pool is just as nice and with a good size. The hotel is located a nice stroll from the city center, and very close to the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle. We will definitely come again. I recommend this hotel for everyone that favors personal service in a family-like atmosphere.

Bezauberndes Hotel und toller Service

Dieses Hotel können wir mit bestem Gewissen empfehlen. Die Lage des Hotels ist traumhaft. Man hat einen schönen Blick auf die Berge. Es ist super ruhig und dennoch kann man innerhalb von 15 Minuten zu Fuß in die Innenstadt von Meran laufen. Alle Angestellten waren sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Man bekommt als Gast wirklich alles was man gerne hätte. Man kann im Hotel jeden Abend ein 6 Gänge Menü einnehmen oder a la carte essen, bekommt aber auch Empfehlungen, wo es außerhalb gutes Essen gibt. Jeden Tag in der Früh liegt auf dem Frühstückstisch ein Zettel mit dem Wetter und den Unternehmungsmöglichkeiten für diesen und den nächsten Tag. Beim Frühstück hat man eine große Auswahl von Brot, Semmeln, Croissants und Müsli bis hin zu Wurst, Marmelade, Käse, frischem Obst und Süßspeisen ist wirklich alles dabei. Abends wird jeder Gast vom Schwiegersohn der Inhaber gefragt, wie der Tag war und was man gemacht hat. Wirklich sehr aufmerksam. Auch die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr zuvorkommend. Sie hat uns gleich bei der Ankunft beraten, was man in Meran alles machen kann und wo man gut Essen gehen kann. Hat sich Zeit genommen, uns auf der Karte einzuzeichnen wo man wie hinkommt und welchen Bus wir dann nehmen können. Wir reisen wirklich gerne und viel und haben noch nie einen solchen Service erhalten wie in diesem Hotel. Wir können dieses Hotel wirklich nur jedem ans Herz legen, der Meran und Umgebung sehen möchte. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder dorthin fahren.
