"We have stayed in a couple different hotels in fort Bragg, and this one was on par with other more expensive options. I think our only real complaint was that the shower curtain wasn't large enough for the shower. So no matter what we tried to do water got on the floor and we had to use towels to wipe it up. But honestly that's a minor issue. There are microwaves in the room which was really nice because most rooms we have stayed in, in the area don't. The showers also have surprisingly really good water pressure."
"We booked an ocean-view room through Expedia, but the only view from our room was trees and the garden. We chose not to complain to the front desk and stayed in the room we were assigned.
We also arrived early and asked if early check-in was possible. The front desk took our phone number and told us they would contact us when the room was ready, but we never received a text or update. We ended up waiting for our room, even though check-in was listed as 4:00 PM.
In addition, we were charged unexpected fees that were not clearly explained to us, which was disappointing.
Other than that, the property was beautiful, and the overall scenery was amazing. The grounds were well maintained, and we still enjoyed our stay despite the issues with the room view, check-in process, and unexpected charges"
"Beautiful property. The staff were so friendly and absolutely amazing! They provided outstanding hospitality with a personal touch! My fiancé and I absolutely loved the amenities- our favorite thing might have been relaxing each night in front of the fireplace in our room after a soak in the hot tub. Also, the donkeys were very cute 😁"
