"The staff was super friendly and helpful. The check in clerk gave useful information about the town. I really liked that he respected the privacy of each person checking in and there was a line but he was fast and efficient without losing the hospitality. The staff putting out breakfast was very nice. The rooms were clean but I would suggest they go a little deeper with the cleaning. I did love that there was a deadbolt on the door as a solo female traveler it made me feel a little more secure. "
"It was quaint, clean as a whistle, perfect little cottage type room away from the restaurant where we could have privacy, see the river out the back window, watch fireflies in the trees while sitting in Adirondack wooden chairs outside our room and listen to the rain. JoJo’s Catfish wharf was so good we had supper one night and lunch the next day there. Wonderful food and service. The canoe salad bar was a complete winner with me!"
"Honestly was a perfect getaway except for a couple minor things. Only real complaint was there was virtually no noise insulation betweeen adjoined cabins and all the furniture in the entire cabin creaked like crazy during married time except the table. Bed, couches, etc all very loud/creaky. Would definitely stay again as you just need to play music and run the fans."
"Great location as far as the restaurant is in walking distance and another great restaurant right down the road, just about 5 miles for downtown Mountain View. Beautiful lake to sit on the deck and look at. You can not fish from your cabin, which was disappointing, the cabin is just basic. Clean and neat, but no amenities, whatsoever, but a beautiful location."
