Motel 6 Carpinteria, CA - Santa Barbara - North
Easy to check-in, plenty of parking! We didn’t get the size bed we booked, the walls are thin and it smelled like cigarette smoke (when it was a non smoking room). The fan had a funky smell, which didn’t help. Overall, it did the trick for a one night stay.

Room dirty, water bottles under bed, crumbs all over, arrived to wet bedding on bed. They had to replace. Locks on patio door broken, did not feel safe as a solo female traveler. All kitchen items had coating of grease and grime…I used NOTHING but the fridge/freezer..yuck! Holes in furniture covers, ...
