"The staff at the resort were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. A small but close team. It was so quiet and relaxing and despite only 16 beds around the pool they were rarely all taken. The walk to the hotel is quite steep so could prove challenging for those who are not good on their feet, but you can get taxis if you need to."
"Ideal location, 12minute walk into Skiathos town. All staff very friendly, polite, attentive, helpful and professional. Hotel spotlessly clean, excellent attention to detail eg towels changed daily, bottle of water provided every day, dressing gown, slippers and toiletries, thorough room clean every day. Rooms in Thalassa Cape were small but very comfortable. Drains did smell at times as per Greece, but acknowledge that little can be done about it. Beach lovely, sun bed, table & umbrella 20-30E for 2 as per going island rate. Pool area a bit cramped. Restaurant and bar pleasant surroundings and ambient atmosphere. Breakfast delicious, plenty of choice. Good dining menu, food nicely presented, reasonably priced and again delicious. Bus stops nearby for exploring island and well stocked supermarkets close. Would definitely recommend Thalassa Cape and would consider returning in the future. "
"Old style hotel but we did prefer it to its sister hotel The Princess… average 20 Min walk into the town and port.. Breakfast was great. We did have dinner in the restaurant one evening and the food was lovely. Staff are full of character, helpful, and you can see that they try their hardest to accommodate all guests. The hotel does need updating …but I would stay there again "

I’m sure this property was very lovely in the past, but it now feels tired and misleading compared to the photos. Sea view was limited, outside looked unwelcoming, and the room had several issues: broken drawer, faulty taps, balcony door hard to lock, bedroom door wouldn’t shut, and very uncomfortable pillows. WiFi was unreliable.
Check-in and airport transfer were confusing and poorly communicated – we had no response from the property or Expedia beforehand, which made for a stressful arrival.
Overall, this was a disappointing experience. The location and cleaning were positives, but the property is run down and poorly managed. Sadly, a 2-star stay for us."
