I would like my money back! Expedia did not notify me that the room had shared bathroom and toilet. And neither give me option between with or without these. When I got there and got so disappointed, I tried to cancel, they said the check in date already passed so I could not cancel or get my money back. I had to book and pay a whole other hotel. NOT with expedia anymore though!

If you're thinking of staying here, I want to warn you,"DON'T do it"! Unless, you can sleep through a hurricane, and/or don't care about getting a decent night's rest. I've been to many hostels, and this had to be the worst. The bathrooms were miniscule, the showers dirty, with no shelf to put your clothes, the place constantly smelled like cigarettes, as the smoking area was at the back door, which was left open so the breeze carried the smoke in. My room had a large window into the hallway, with 2 curtains that barely covered it, and let a ton of light in. There's a club that was basically attached to my back wall, which blasted music till the wee hours every night, and you could hear and almost feel the chairs moving on their floor...it was a disaster, and a mistake!

The hostel is very central and the dormitories are nice but the four bed room has no window and there is nothing to take a rest or chill. Staff is very friendly and helpful. If you need just something to sleep it is fine but to hangaround not the best.

I cancel my stay
First of all this hotel is in the “Zona Rosa” is crowded with noisy loud businesses near and is not for comfortness and an enjoyable area. This is for party people to like to hang out loudly! Sorry not a good place to stay!

We booked two nights but left after the first one because of the loud music from the bar/pubs around the hostel. Also, the towels were dirty and old. When checking out the manager asked us to pay an extra 19% VAT which should only be applied to Colombian citizens or people staying over 60 days, after a small chat she didn't charge it, be aware that they will try to charge you this extra 19% to your bill.

Nice hostel but didn't like location
A very well priced hostel in the centre of El Poblado. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. It's a great place if you love parties and noise as all the bars are literally on the doorstep and music doesn't stop until the early hours. Not so good if you prefer quiet like us! We had a room right at the back which was unfortunate as guests would use it to talk until the early hours and we could hear everything :( a good hostel and a good price but I wouldn't chose again if I knew how noisy it would be.

There were some problems with the reservation, so they had to give me a room in new house that was under construction, so conditions were a little messy. But the neighbourhood is great for night life and parting, but the hostel is a bit too close too some large discotheques so it is quite loud at night

Well located budget hotel
The staff is very professional and on top of things. They monitor who goes in and out, and make all guests register with their IDs. Unfortunately, you must pay $10 for a guest to visit your room. It is a place with plenty of young backpackers visiting Columbia from various countries. The setup of the common areas makes it hard to really get a complete hostel feeling, but I did meet some people. There are better hostels in El Poblado nd throughout Medellin for comparable prices. They have a small fridge where you can buy drinks. There is a small kitchen area. They have a variety of rooms, from dorms to minimal non-AC rooms without bathrooms to quite nice two-person rooms with frig, AC, and shower/bath. The latter are best. I was stuck with the last "minimal" room. It was sufficient, clean, but not too convenient.

We loved Hostal Lleras! The staff was extremely friendly, the place was very clean, and it was quiet and peaceful. We had an interior room, which helped on the noise. I can imagine it would be loud close to the street as it was next to and across from a bunch of bars. The bed was pretty hard, but it was clean and comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again.

Great place.
Everything was fine, only a bit loud at night.. It's greared more for backpackers then mature adults.. I give it a rating of 9 out of 10. The staff was great, in all ways you expect from a hostel/hotel. No regrets..

Just be prepared that you are in the center of everything and that it might be noisy at night.. Understanding that, you will not be disappointed at all with the hotel.. It was fantastic!

The staff is very kind and helpful, the place is very clean. neighbourhood is perfect, there's a lot of restaurants and bars nearby. It is imposible to not have a good time there, even if you travel alone.

C'est propre et le personnel est sympa. La chambre est spacieuse et la salle de bain est très bien aussi (chambre avec salle de bain privée). Hôtel bien situé au cœur de El Poblado. Mais sa situation dans ce quartier fait qu'il y a du bruit jusqu'au bout de la nuit. Il est collé aux boites de nuits et bars dansants et il est donc impossible de dormir. Du coup, si vous voulez vous reposer et vous lever tôt pour visiter la ville, je ne vous conseille pas cet hôtel. En revanche, si vous voulez faire la fête toute la nuit, alors cet hôtel est fait pour vous.

Muy buena atención de las personas, pero el dia que me retiraba la persona del turno de la.madrugada no estaba muy bien informado sobre la cancelación del servicio que lo había hecho con anticipación, no me gusto nada que me diga que.no había pagado aun, en un momento en el que estaba apurado y el auto me.estaba esperando para ir al aeropuerto, por suerte yo tenia a la mano de voucher de pago cargado a mi tarjeta de crédito
