"The best part of this resort honestly wasn’t the waterpark — it was the kids’ room. Brad, who runs it, brings such a thoughtful and intentional approach to what he does. He wasn’t just supervising; he was truly engaging with families. Most days he ran the kids’ room from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and even helped each family create keepsakes from their trip, which was such a special touch. Every night we were there, he hosted a skee-ball competition right in the game room for both kids and adults, which everyone loved. Then from 7–9 p.m., he ran a pool party with organized games every 15 minutes, keeping the energy high and everyone involved. He truly made our trip memorable and has us already excited to come back to Dubuque."

"Marie at front desk worked hard to fight computer problems that were plaguing the area. Pool was biggest in a hotel I have seen. And it was warm too. Hot tub was great. Easy access to downtown Galena. Clean hallways, room and good breakfast. "

"What an absolute amazing stay at this beautiful Resort. We stayed during a snow storm and there is no better place be. It was warm, peaceful , clean and very relaxing and romantic Alfredo and Romona were very kind and hospitable. The fire place was a lovely touch and the hot tub inside was very romantic . I was also impressed with the water heater as the tub didn’t run out of hot water and it was the perfect temperature . The beds were so comfy, we slept very well. "We were staying here for the three nights before Christmas this year and we had an amazing time so convenient for having a lodging with skiing. Also, the restaurant very good. The room was very spacious and very clean. Service good as well. Definitely we will come back and we highly recommend it."
