McKinley Creekside Cabins

"Pros: Super cute cabins, fabulous cafe, and good location (15 minutes South of Denali National Park; and NOT in the cruise ship lodge area - which was great, in my book). Con: Woke up at midnight to someone caterwauling (thought it was some drunk outside). Tried calling the front desk, but no service. Dang, we had gotten up at 4:00am that morning for our bus tour reservations at Denali, and I was sleeping so good. The next morning I talked with the desk clerk and he thought it was because they have Karaoke Night Wednesdays at the Pizza Place next door. So, be forewarned about Cabin #8, cuz you are going to need earplugs!"

"We stayed in the motel section of the property. The room had two beds: twin and full size. The full size was kind of a short one. I am 6'1" and had to sleep diagonally. The rooms only have small portable electric heaters, the room was warm. There are no chairs or tables in the rooms however there is a common area with tables, chairs, microwave and electric kettle. Only 6 miles from entrance to Denali NP."
