"The A/C was great, and the two queen beds were nice as well. Did not find any ice bucket to get ice with or any cups for coffee or water. Had to go to the office to get the cups, but nothing for ice. I also had a problem with the Kleenex as it smelled like it just came out of a smoking room...very strong tobacco smell. Other than that, the property was very secure. The attendant was sometimes difficult to find."

"The lodging looks old fashioned but well kept from the outside, but it is extremely well built, recently refurbished, modern, clean, and very quiet on the inside. Even the train whistles off in the distance were a source of comfort. This inn is the very best of basic lodging. The owner and his staff were attentive without being intrusive. We stayed 3 nights and it is one of the best places we've stayed during our travels of the past 5 years."
